Cervical Health Awareness Month is a chance to raise awareness about how women can protect themselves from HPV (human papillomavirus) and cervical cancer.

Kimberly S. Carroll, MD., is a board certified Obstetrician -Gynecologist, who practices Gynecology and does Family Planning, Infertility, Pregnancy confirmation and Consultation, Menopause treatment and In-office procedures; including Tubal ligation, Endometrial ablation (for abnormal uterine bleeding), IUD & Implanon placement, Colposcopy and Cryotherapy.

She Graduated from the University of Michigan with a B.S. in Biology and earned her M.D. degree from Michigan State University- College of Human Medicine. Her residency was at Howard University Hospital in Washington D.C.

Dr. Caroll is affiliated with Morehouse School of Medicine and Emory University Residents, at Emory Mid Town Hospital and Tenet South Fulton Medical Center; and has been in private practice in the Atlanta area for 20 years.

Dr. Lynne Cunningham

A native of Chicago, Illinois, Dr. Lynne Cunningham received her medical degree from the Finch University of Health Sciences/The Chicago Medical School. She then completed her residency in OB/GYN at Cook County Hospital, Chicago, Illinois.

In 2000, Dr. Cunningham relocated to Atlanta Georgia where she began her practice as an OB/GYN physician. She has myriad of experiences in both surgical and clinical office procedures including the evaluation and treatment of abnormal pap smears and abnormal uterine bleeding, IUD placement and removal and other sterilization procedures . While affiliated with Morehouse School of Medicine, Dr. Cunningham participated in training OB/GYN residents by supervising their clinical and surgical activities. Her affiliation with Fort Benning Army Base, located in Columbus Georgia afforded her the opportunity to provide women’s healthcare to military personnel.

Dr. Cunningham has a strong interest in gynecological healthcare including pregnancy confirmation, STD testing and counseling, family planning and contraceptive management, adolescent, reproductive and menopausal health issues.
